Kinja'd!!!

They have more muscle cars than I think any place has a need of. I do like Plum Crazy Purple though. (and no, this isn’t a real R/T Challenger)

Kinja'd!!!

And when I got to building 4 I found MORE DUESENBERGS! They have 12 on site total, though I think I only saw 10 of them. I haven’t seen this many in one place since I went to the Auburn/Cord/Duesenberg festival in Auburn, IN, as a kid.

Kinja'd!!!

This looks like a 1937 Cord Sportsman, but really it’s a replica with a Chevy motor.

Kinja'd!!!

Building 5 was labelled as “Pre-war” and there were a lot of older cars, but mixed in were 50’s cars and pickups as well. Though I really like this Polly Gas tow truck.

Kinja'd!!!

And the collection continues outside with Military trucks, cars that don’t fit elsewhere, and this full size REPLICA harrier jet.

I skipped their Military museum building, but overall I think nearly any Jalop can find something interesting here.

My dad did take note of things we didn’t see. There are no Volvos, BMWs, Bugattis, etc. They do have a couple of Rolls Royces, and one or two Mercedes, but Europe is not well represented in general.

Most of those cars, as I’m sure you noticed, are for sale on consignment. So, they’ve got whatever people bring them. I love Volo, but the really stretch the term “museum” with their actual business model.

I agree, they stretch things. I’ve been a couple of times, and they always have something different on every trip, so at least their vehicle turnover rates are good. They were showing one couple every Corvair they had while we were there this time.

Their turnover is very good. I used to go twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, and almost all the cars would be different. The part I can’t stand is the building with all the movie cars around the perimeter, with their corresponding movies blaring on a continuous loop. I can’t even hear myself think in there.
